The Ethics Channel is a tool made available by Meitech for employees, suppliers, service providers, partners, and other interested parties to submit reports, communications, or complaints related to potential violations of the Code of Ethics and Conduct, internal company policies, applicable legislation — including Anti-Corruption laws — as well as situations involving fraud, harassment, discrimination, conflicts of interest, misconduct, or other irregularities.
Employees are also expected to use this Channel to report situations that may constitute a potential conflict of interest, including, by way of example, family relationships among employees, close relationships between employees and suppliers, clients, or competitors; equity interests, secondary activities, or any circumstances that may affect the independence, impartiality, or interests of the company.
When filing a report, the individual may choose to identify themselves or remain anonymous. Meitech will take reasonable measures to preserve the confidentiality of the information received and protect the identity of those involved, in compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements, as well as the needs related to the proper investigation of the facts.
The information received will be reviewed by the Ethics and Compliance Committee or by the designated competent areas, in accordance with the principles of impartiality, independence, good faith, confidentiality, and the absence of conflicts of interest.
Meitech is committed to evaluating reports with seriousness and accountability, and may adopt disciplinary, administrative, corrective, and/or legal measures whenever violations of internal policies or applicable legislation are identified.
Should the reporting party provide a valid means of contact, the Channel may forward requests for additional information or communications related to the handling of the report.
The management of reports shall follow these guidelines:
The information handled within the scope of this Channel may be used exclusively for internal investigation, compliance, audit, investigation, and fulfillment of legal and regulatory obligations, in accordance with applicable data protection and confidentiality guidelines.
ATTENTION: This channel must be used exclusively for matters related to ethics, integrity, conduct, and compliance.
For general inquiries, administrative requests, suggestions, feedback, or operational matters, we recommend reaching out through the appropriate internal channels or directly contacting the responsible department.
